Map control basics

Fight from angles that let you disengage. If you cannot safely reset within two seconds, the angle is probably too greedy.

Dead by Daylight maps have repeat hotspots — learn them, but do not mirror the same path every round or predictability will punish you.

Team fights

Enter fights with a plan: who trades, who scans, and who exits first. Random pushes bleed tickets fast.

When numbers are even, force fights where your squad already holds cover. Avoid open ground unless you have a clear speed advantage.

Closing out rounds

When ahead, play for information instead of highlight clips. One clean pick wins more rounds than a risky solo push.

When behind, look for one isolated target and reset the tempo. Dead by Daylight swings hard after a single successful pick into space.
